National Nutty Fudge Day

Today is May 12 and its National Nutty Fudge Day.  If you're one who loves sweets or one who has a sweet tooth, today is your day.  There are many variants of fudge: hot fudge, fudge cookie, toffee, praline, penuche, knack, sharbat, barfi, krowki; and they also are found in many countries: United States, Canada, UK, Ireland, India, Poland, Sweden, Central Asia, and Scotland.

Chocolate and marshmallow fudge seems to be the most popular in the Philippines among many others.  The latest addition is the famous Mrs. Tilly's Scottish Fudge based in Scotland, who have been hand crafting their secret recipe fudge for nearly 20 years.  Their products are now available in selected stores and supermarkets.
